Wetlands for our Future

Hundreds of colleagues and students pass the entrance hall of UNESCO-IHE every day Most of them are engaged with hydrology,engineering and other topics, only few of them study wetlands management - or maybe even aware how important wetlands are to sustainable water management. World Wetlands Day, celebrated on 2nd February, is a welcome opportunity to raise awareness in many different forms, and for many different audiences. Not every organization lends itself to a big publicity event. In our case, we created a slide show and broadcast it during the day on the announcement screen in the institute. A little reminder "in passing".
